From the first brush strokes in Eastern Germany to exhibiting in a Gallery in Switzerland and hanging paintings in a corporate office in Milano - life as an artist is full of colours, and it is a limitless exploration.

It all started with a curiosity for illustrating what could be seen, and develop the unseen through imagination, both with meticulous technique. In other words, using strict discipline to unleash the fruit of imagination.

FROM MY PALETTE TO YOUR HOME

From poppies dancing in a field to waves clashing against the bow of a sailing boat, I am constantly experimenting with techniques that allow my imagination to paint different sceneries. Water, oil, acrylics, bees wax - art can be such an exciting playing field.

My relationship with birds is very special. I opened a gallery in Broadway, England, specialising in bird art. I love studying birds and feel that painting the complexity of feathers is incredibly rewarding.

Most order enquiries I receive are for pets. Painting these family friends is a very personal work. The chosen models become part of my life. I like to know their names and little stories to define the fury or feathered friends' character.

Inspiration for my dance collections came mainly from my daughter for whom dance was a great passion. I used to love watching her performances. The graceful movements inspired me to illustrate silhouettes with a touch of imaginative freedom.
